Isager Tvinni was developed by Marianne Isager in collaboration with Skive Uldspinderi. The wool in the yarn is the finest merino quality, virgin wool, which is first sheared from lamb. The fibers are long and fine, which gives a very durable quality.
We tend to say that it is our best yarn and that it wears beautifully. A sweater knitted in Tvinni has a long shelf life if treated with care. As the yarn is twisted with two strands, it is well suited for stockinette knitting on a circular needle, and with its light weight it is a yarn that can be used in many contexts, both alone and in knitting with other qualities in e.g. Jacquard knitting (Fair Isle knitting and Norwegian pattern knitting).
