Isager Japanese Cotton

With its beautiful ribbon structure, Isager Japanese Cotton is an exciting complement to the other yarns. At first glance, the yarn seems hard and papery, but it is 100% cotton and becomes softer in the wash. The yarn gives a really fine structure when knitted together with other yarns, both as stripes or as part of a thread.

Recommended needle size and gauge:

• Japanese Cotton alone: 3 mm needles for 26 sts x 36 rows
• Japanese Cotton + Alpaca 1: 3 mm needles for 24 sts x 28 rows
• Japanese Cotton + Alpaca 2: 3.5 mm needles for 22 sts x 24 rows
• Japanese Cotton + Silk mohair: 4 mm needles for 18 sts x 22 rows
